Vector:
Refers to graphics data composed mainly of representations of lines and outlines of objects that can be represented in compact fashion by specifying sets of key points. A program displaying vector data must know how to draw lines by interpolating points between the key points.
Video Display Card:
Device that takes digital information from a rendering application and converts it to an analog format suitable for output on a monitor.
Voxel:
A 3D pixel. Voxels contain all of the components of a pixel (such as color values) and include an extra component that specifies the distance of the voxel from the point of observation.
Vector Image:
An image made up of individual objects instead of pixels. The objects are defined by mathematical equations. You can adjust the size of a vector image and the image remains clear and of high quality. This type of file format is typically used in engineering and architecture. ACDSee does not support vector images on its own; however, the ACDSee plug-in 2D Vector Pak does support some of the more popular vector formats.
Video Capture Card (VCC):
A card for your computer that lets you transfer video images to your computer.
